Louisiana Senior Games Inc., the sanctioning agency of our competition, strongly urges that all participants consult their physicians regarding their practice for and participation in this program.

ELIGIBILITY

This is an open competition. Out-of-state and out-of-district entries are welcomed. Anyone who will be at least 50 years of age as of December 31, 2026 is eligible. District competitors are those from Caddo, Bossier, Bienville, Claiborne, Webster, DeSoto, and Red River parishes. For our events, competitors from the Union Parish COA are included in our district.

AGE GROUPS

Age groups are generally 5 or 10 year groups but, we reserve the right to combine groups to ensure medals are won through competition or to meet scheduling demands. Your age group will be determined by your age as of December 31 of this year.

Entry fee is $10.00

Bowling requires a $12.00 facility fee for each bowling event you enter in addition to the entry fee.

The Celebration of Athletes lunch also has a $10.00 fee for each participant and /or guest. Reservations for the Celebration must be made by June 13.

Please note: Funds will not be refunded for any reason!

QUALIFYING EVENTS

Athletes must qualify for state competition in Bowling Singles and Table Tennis.

MEDALS

District and out-of-district athletes may qualify for their state games through finish in our district (Please check with your state association to be sure they recognize this.). If only one athlete plays in an event, that athlete will be awarded a ribbon instead of a medal.

START TIMES

The Games schedule list starting times for each event. Players should be ready for play at least 15 minutes before the starting time. Game officials reserve the right to cancel or postpone any event due to inclement or threatening weather or unusual circumstances and to change an event to multiple days if registration warrants. Events may be canceled if number of entries does not warrant them. Fees will not be refunded.
